Brass Era Car Row

Brass Era Car Row

A row of brass-era automobiles, including vehicles that appear to be Ford Model T touring cars and other 1910s-era roadsters with wire-spoked wheels and soft tops, fills a dusty main street. The cars are parked in front of a low commercial block capped by a curvilinear Mission Revival parapet that houses a Mexican food diner and adjacent storefronts; two tall flagpoles rise above the roofline. Men in suits and brimmed hats, likely circa 1910s to early 1920s, stand near the vehicles and along the sidewalk. A faded sign at left appears to read "HOTEL" and "PARTS", suggesting mixed commercial uses along this downtown strip.
