The Robert Smith India Pale Ale Brewing Co. As it says on the building in the background of the image. This image is from West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania circa 1870. Located at 24th Ward at N.38th St Girard Ave, Reading Railroad. Company was founded in 1774 and sold in 1881. Closed when prohibition began in 1896. This image also represents the Horse Drawn Carriages.
